We are pleased to announce the second part of the AECP-CHLA 18th International Conference – dedicated to neonatology and general pediatrics (including endocrinology and cardiology.) The virtual conference will start on Monday February 15, 2021 and will continue until Thursday February 18, 2021 through a series of online events, which will be free for participants from all over the world.
The Conference is organized by the Armenian EyeCare Project (AECP) and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Armenia, the World Diabetes Foundation and a number of medical associations in Armenia.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the conference will be held online, which will give an opportunity to enlarge the geography and number of conference speakers and participants. The topics of the international conference will also be expanded – including pediatrics and cardiology for the first time.
Each day of the Conference will be devoted to one subspecialty: general pediatrics (February 15), neonatology (February 16), pediatric endocrinology (February 17) and pediatric cardiology (February 18.) We are honored to have as Conference speakers, lecturers from Armenia as well as speakers from the best universities and hospitals in the U.S. At the close of each conference day, there will be a Q&A session on the subspecialty covered, which will be facilitated by both local and guest speakers.
As well, those in Armenia who participate in the four-day conference will receive 13 CME (Continuing Medical Education) credits according to the Ministry of Health of Armenia.
All materials and lectures from part one of the AECP-CHLA 18th International Conference are already stored on the AECP-CHLA Online Pediatric Educational Network (OPEN) and are available for free access. The platform will store content from part two of the conference upon completion of the event. This will give a unique self-education opportunity to physicians and healthcare providers from all over the world.
