He enjoys reading specialized medical literature and considers self-education an important part of his daily routine.
Tadevos Hovhannisyan is responsible for performing vitreo-retinal surgeries in Armenia. He joined the AECP in 2003 and since 2010, has been performing the complicated retinal surgeries as part of the AECP’s ROP program. Tadevos holds a Ph.D. in Prevention and Surgery Treatment of Complicated form of Diabetic Retinopathy from the Yerevan State Medical University and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Republican Clinic of Ophthalmology in Yerevan State Medical University. Tadevos has more than 30 research articles published in local and international periodicals and currently directs the Eye Clinic of Kanaker-Zeytun Medical Center.
