Mike Aghajanian has over 35 years of consulting and industry experience. He retired as the president and CEO of PRTM Management Consultants in 2009 when it was acquired by PwC. PRTM had more than 800 consultants in 19 offices worldwide and was globally recognized as the leading consulting firm to technology-based companies.
Since retiring, Mike has devoted his time and talents to many business, academic and charitable pursuits. One area he is particularly proud of is his role as Adjunct Professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts. Notably, Aghajanian, along with fellow Professor Diran Apelian, founded the WPI Armenia Project Center. Each year, 24 students from WPI travel to Armenia to complete 7-week projects where they apply their technical skills to solve real-world social problems. Thanks to Aghajanian’s initiative, WPI students have traveled to Armenia to work alongside the AECP team to help support and enhance their ability to achieve their important mission.
Mike holds an MBA in technology management from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine, as well as an undergraduate degree in engineering from WPI. Aghajanian is also a member of the Paul Merage School of Business Dean’s Advisory Board and Dean’s Leadership Circle as well as a member of WPI’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship Council of Strategic Advisors and the Foisie Business School’s advisory board.
