Lisa Kalustian is an accomplished strategist experienced in complex issues management, communications and advocacy, policy development and implementation, and media relations. She has been a trusted advisor to top-level leadership, having been appointed to a range of senior leadership positions in two gubernatorial administrations and serving as Vice President of Public Affairs for the Western Region of Health Net, Inc. Additional experience includes public affairs positions with the senior-level executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles and a community/government relations management firm.
Kalustian received her master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and is a graduate of the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs. She is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Western Diocese Endowment Fund and the Armenian Assembly of America. Previously she has served on the boards of Coro Southern California, Armenian International Women’s Association (AIWA), Western Diocese Summer Camp, and as a gubernatorial appointee on the California Board of Psychology.
