Working in the field since 1956, Cholakian founded CJI Process Systems, Inc. in 1985 and is still active in its daily operations. Cholakian attended East Los Angeles Junior College and the University of Arizona where he was a member of the Triple X Fraternity. Following college Archie served for two years in the U.S. Army. He has been married to his wife, Stella, for 55 years and together they have two sons and two grandchildren.
